Art
There will be a display of some of the street art from the days of May. Some of the graffiti which was widespread at the time will be re-created for the day and a number of hand-stitched banners with some of the more poetic slogans will adorn the space. We encourage participants in the conference and book fair to add to the display.
Exhibitions include:
Donald Rooum's anarchist cartoons will be on display in the Small Hall (Fenner Brockway room).
Guy Smallman and Paul Mattsson's exhibition of recent photographs will be put up for the day.
Peter Kennard and Cat Picton-Phillipps will be showing a selection of work from their most recent exhibition.
Alice Kilroy will be producing several large banners with slogans from 1968.
