8pmThe great upsurge of 1968 marked the peak of a long post war economic boom that gave way to a long period of economic crisis and a huge upsurge of workers struggles around the world. Are we facing a repeat performance, and if so, what will be similar and what will be different? A panel of writers on Marxist political economy will examine the Credit Crunch, Banking Crisis and Global Inflation of 2007-2008 and debate the impact and meaning of these events for the struggles of the 21st Century.
